Significant Structural Damages Sustained to VFW Pool
When VFW was drained at the end of the season, it sustained "major structural damage."
Cost estimates for repairs will come soon. If estimates are too high, the city simply will not have funds to repair the pool. This makes passing the November 6th referendum even more important. Without a YES vote, we may never again swim at VFW pool.

Big Steps Forward for De Pere Pools!
On August 21, 2018 the Common Council unanimously voted in favor of all agenda items related to our cause:
​
1. Adopting the Recommendation from Board of Park Commissioners to Revisit the Decision Related to VFW & Legion Pools .
​
2. Rescinding Prior Council Action Pertaining to Replacing VFW and Legion Pools.
​
3. Authorizing and Directing Referendum Question for Increase in Tax Levy
We know that you are excited! Please continue to stay motivated and excited. We will need your help!
We will be meeting with City officials and getting organized in order to launch our referendum efforts.
